The Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, thanks also to its rich vegetation, has fascinated since 1500 many renowned botanical names who came here to study its flora.
They have left traces of their discoveries in the names of so many species dedicated to them that we can also appreciate at the Carsiana Botanical Garden. The walk in the garden will therefore have a new purpose, where the names of the plants become pieces of botanical history.
Appointment Friday 28 June at 18.00 at the Carsiana Botanical Garden, an introduction to the great names that have made the history of botany in the region will be followed by a guided tour to discover the riches kept in the garden.
