22nd September: Protected plants of Friuli Venezia Giulia

The Friuli Venezia Giulia region, thanks to the variety of its habitats, has a surprising floristic richness.

There are many defined species of community importance and of regional interest that we can already appreciate walking around the Carsiana Botanical Garden. But how to behave when we meet them? And what rules regulate the collection of unprotected species?

On Sunday 22nd September at 11.00 am we will explore this interesting and important topic in the company of the botanist Pierpaolo Merluzzi. During the presentation the booklet "Flora and protected fauna of Friuli Venezia Giulia" will be distributed free of charge, published by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and the Basovizza Nature Educational Center, and that it will be a useful support during your walks not only in Karst but throughout the region.

Participation in the event is free.
