During our walks in nature we often observe trees, flowers, rocks, yet we do not realize that many of the surfaces we look at in reality we do not see them naked, but covered by organisms that have developed what could be considered the symbiosis par excellence: the lichens!

In this event dedicated to them we will have the pleasure of hosting the intervention Pier Luigi Nimis, professor of systematic botany at the Department of Life Sciences of the University of Trieste and author of the monumental catalog of Italian lichens "Lichens of Italy" .

The event will be held on Saturday 12 June at 3.30 pm. Participation in the event is free. The number of places is limited, so follow the instructions below to join.

METHOD OF PARTICIPATION
In compliance with the regulations relating to the COVID-19 emergency, the event is organized with a limited number. Participation is only possible by reservation. The reservation is effective upon receipt of the confirmation from the Carsiana staff. Participation in the event is free. To participate, the use of a mask, respect for the safety distance and disinfection of the hands with hydroalcoholic gel are mandatory.
