The whole Karst was once under water, in a warm, shallow sea. Many organisms lived in this sea and deposited their shells on the seabed over the millennia. These shells gave rise to the karst rock, which still contains traces of its ancient inhabitants.

During the walk in Carsiana we will discover them and then we will make a cast of a real fossil to take home and color. Workshop suitable for primary school children.
