The appearance of the Karst has changed a lot in the last few centuries. The first photos show it barren, but today the vegetation advances and is slowly covering the open areas not grazed. This process is called ecological succession and can provide us with interesting insights to understand in which direction the Karst environments are evolving.

According to the formula already adopted last year, the readings will be followed by a child-friendly walk to discover Carsiana in the company of a naturalist guide of the garden.
