On Sunday 4 August from 10.30 a.m. to 12 noon at the Botanical Garden / Botanični vrt Carsiana (Sgonico / Zgonik 55) Nati per Leggere returns to offer nature readings aimed at families with children aged 2 and over. Following the formula adopted last year, the readings will be followed by a child-friendly walk to discover Carsiana in the company of a nature guide from the garden.

The appointment with the bilingual Italian-Slovenian readings is part of the national Mamma Lingua project for the promotion of mother tongue and multilingualism in early childhood.

Around the date of the event, the Sales Municipal Library will offer an exhibition of nature-themed books in Italian and Slovenian suitable for the 0-6 age group.

The reservation is effective upon receipt of confirmation from the Carsiana staff. It is advisable to book in good time and to give notice in case of impediment to allow families on the waiting list. Participation in the event is free of charge. Comfortable clothing and walking shoes are recommended.
